Togian Islands
This route offers an unparalleled journey through some of Indonesia’s most pristine marine ecosystems. Sailing from North Sulawesi to the remote Togean Islands, divers cross a biological frontier where biodiversity reaches its peak.
The highlight of this itinerary is its incredible contrast:
-
Macro and Critter Life: The area is a haven for lovers of rare and tiny creatures. The volcanic black sands and soft coral reefs house a density of small life that is unique in the world, turning every dive into a search for biological treasures.
-
Pristine Reefs and Pelagics: As we head south, the underwater landscape transforms into majestic vertical walls and hard coral reefs in perfect condition. These open waters serve as a natural corridor for larger species, offering exciting encounters with sharks, massive schools of fish, and other pelagics.
-
Unique Underwater Geology: The route combines the calm of sheltered bays with the power of ocean currents, creating landscapes that range from caves and crevices to historical wrecks that have become vibrant artificial reefs.
This expedition is designed for those seeking to experience wild nature in all its forms, from the smallest, most unusual animals to the vastness of the deep blue.
