The boat

Launched in 2001, this traditional wooden schooner, (Phinisi in the local language), was built in South Sulawesi by the seafaring Bugis tribes, using tropical woods and following traditional methods of their ancestors. Custom-built under the direct supervision of our Operations Manager, it was built by a diver for divers.
